News Death Notice
GEYER, Warren W. 93, of Springfield, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in his home. He was born on December 15, 1922, in Springfield, the son of Edgar and Alice Geyer. Mr. Geyer retired as a UAW Labor Negotiator and built over 36 homes. He was a member of Fifth Evangelical Lutheran Church and also a member of Clark Masonic Lodge. Of all his accomplishments, his greatest titles were husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and great-great grandpa. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Carol Geyer; two grandchildren, Dr. Matthew Geyer and Molly Sagraves; three step-grandsons, Ken Frizzell, Joe Frizzell and Ed Frizzell; numerous great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and special friend, Edith West. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris I. Geyer; an infant daughter, Diane Geyer; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 11a.m.-1p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER with service beginning at 1p.m. Pastor John Pollock officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be expressed to his family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
