News Death Notice
PATTERSON, William "Pat" Born July 19th 1936 in Olean, NY, passed away at the age of 79 on the 20th of May 2016 in Springfield, Ohio. Pat was preceded in death by his father William L. Patterson and his mother Ruth K. Patterson. Pat is survived by his wife Rose Marie (Kästl), sister Roberta Bass, brother Michael Patterson, daughters Cindy Morris (Bob), Robin Mayberry (Bob), Katrina Hooper (John), son Danny Patterson (Theresa) and stepson Michael Kästl (Christiane), 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Pat honorably served his country for 40 years, 20 years in the United States Air Force and 20 years as a DoD civilian with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. Pat was a leader and a mentor, impacting many lives throughout his careers. Pat loved his life, he loved his friends and he loved his wife Rosie for 45 years. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in Pat's name to The Salvation Army.
