News Death Notice
STREETER, William "Bill" Charles Sr. age 69 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 28, 2012. He was a life long resident of Springfield, Ohio. He was born on February 3, 1943, the son of the late Russell Streeter Sr. and Dorothy Stewart King. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 4 brothers: Russell Streeter Jr., John "Butch" Russell, Mike Russell and Pat Russell; 2 sisters: Dorothy Whaley and Becky Russell. He is survived by his 7 children: Bill (Shirley) Streeter Jr., Ellen (Duane) Clifford, Timothy (Jill) Streeter, Trish (Jerry) Seel, Laura (Jeff) Stewart, Catherine (Joe) Apone, Jennifer (Sean) Maynard; 29 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; one sister, Linda Gilbert; brother-in-law, Paul Whaley; 3 sisters-in-law Glenna Streeter, Rita Russell, Jeri Russell and numerous nieces and nephews. Two inspirational friends; Mary Ellen Weathers and Edward Russell McElroy as well as many other friends and relatives. Bill always enjoyed the time he spent outdoors and with his loving family. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services to follow on Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Costandy Saba officiating. Burial Ferncliff Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Springfield Cancer Center and Springfield Community Mercy Hospice for their gracious and kind care.
