Zee was a very friendly, caring nursing assistant at Heartland when we worked together in the 1980's. She was special to me. I thought about her recently and remembered her huge smile. May God be with her family and friends.

Dear Upshaw family, my son Joe and I were so sorry to hear about Zerlean. We hadn't known her for very long, but we enjoyed taking care of her. We came to love her very much. We will miss her very much. If there is anything that we can do, you can find us at the hospital.

We are so sorry to hear of Ms. Upshaw's passing. She took care of my husband's mother at Heartland from about 1994-1997. She was so compassionate and caring - and that smile - she always had that smile on her face. No matter how busy she was, she always made us feel that my mother-in-law was her most important patient. Heaven will truly be blessed having "Z" as one of their own.
