Elbert B. "Daddy Bert" Miller

1927 - 2018

2 Timothy 4:7 fought the good Fight, He finished his course, and He kept the faith:
Elbert was born May 14, 1927, to John Franklin Miller and Ada (Greer) Miller. He passed from this life
into Glory to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 6, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters and brothers; daughter, Beverley Odom; and his
Precious first love of his life, his first wife of 35 years, Amelda (Pat) Miller. When she died, he never
dreamed of marriage or love again, but God had other plans and brought his second and final Love of his
life into his life, Deborah Miller and they shared 27 blessed years of marriage.

He leaves behind: his 2nd wife, Deborah Miller; his sons, Terry (Martha) Miller, Julian (Christal) Martin,
and Travis Martin; daughter-in-law, Sandra Martin; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;
and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

His pallbearers will be Josh Brooks, Mark Richards, Will Chavers, Larry Locklar, Anthony Bailey, and
Danny Bateman.

A very special thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice especially Nurse Olga and home aide Courtney. You
have been a great blessing to Bert and me during this time. Another special thank you to Council on
Aging, Mrs. Cook we could not have made it without you during this past 8 months.
Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Bagdad First Assembly of God in Bagdad, FL from 6:00 -
8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, also at the church. Burial will
follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Milton, FL. Rev. Bruce Chambers will officiate with Rev. Avon
Fowler.

Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bagdad First Assembly of God,
P.O. Box 8, Bagdad, FL 32350, in his honor for the furtherance of the kingdom of God.
