Carol Pascal Obituary

Carol Good Pascal
Carol Good Pascal, 88, passed away on December 14, 2020 in Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT. Carol Pascal was born in Cambridge, MA on April 8, 1932. She attended Belmont High School in Belmont, MA and graduated from The College of Practical Arts and Letters at Boston University. Carol worked at Loomis Sayles as an Assistant before leaving the investment firm to marry Mr. Donald D. Pascal on May 31, 1958. Carol and Don Pascal started their family in New York City and then moved to Scarsdale, NY in 1962. She raised four children and was active in organizations supporting both her children and the Scarsdale community. Carol was interested in forms of artistic expression and enjoyed playing the piano and making enamel pieces. She volunteered her time as both a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout leader to connect with her children. Later in life, she supported the Brookfield Craft Center in CT, making foundational gifts to the Center as well as launching their blacksmithing program at Brookfield's "Good Forge".
Carol supported her late husband Donald D. Pascal in his various capacities as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of National Starch & Chemical Corporation. In this role, they traveled around North America, Europe, Middle East, Japan and China Carol is survived by her four children: Donald T. Pascal of Greenwich, CT, Carol P. Curtis of New York, NY, Jeannine K. Pascal of Old Greenwich, CT and Elaine Lyria Pascal of Santa Fe, NM. Her brother Timothy W. Good III and sister Claire Crane passed away some years ago. Carol delighted in her 9 grandchildren, and they will miss her greatly. Carol's children hosted a very intimate private Celebration of Life Service in her honor on December 21, 2020. Amidst the challenges of the Pandemic, the family is not suggesting a specific charity to receive donations, but rather encouraging friends of Carol to support their local health care workers.
