Connor Wilcox Obituary
April 18, 2007 - May 17, 2024
Connor Slattery Wilcox, aged 17, lost his life Friday, May 17. He will always be remembered for his beautiful blue eyes, sweet smile, and loving nature. He was a wonderful son, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and an exceptionally doting brother. He is survived by his parents, William and Tara Wilcox (nee Lynch), his two brothers Liam and Eamon Wilcox, and his loving extended family, including his grandmother Noille Nichols of Hamden, and his grandfather Vincent Lynch of West Haven. His passing leaves a gaping hole in the fabric of our family, Connor's charm and ability to make us smile with his comedic personality is irreplaceable. He made friends everywhere he went. Connor's friends meant the world to him, especially the friendships he created in his neighborhood, at Rogers, and Stamford High. The effect he had on the people around him will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 1200 Shippan Ave., Stamford, CT. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church. Interment will be private.
The arrangements are under the direction of Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, Stamford, CT (203)-359-9999.

To the Wilcox family it a so so very sorry and devastated by the loss of your dear Connor. My daughter Charlotte is a JR at SHS and a good friend of your son. We are all devastated and offer are continued prayers and thoughts. Your situation has impacted our family deeply and your son has been up to our home in North Stamford and my daughter has his seat in the jeep reserved forever
Bill we went to Westhill together and I am so so so very sorry they all loved Connor he is a superstar

My heart was torn asunder when Kevin Kindilien told me of this tragedy. Literally, lost my breath and ability to form words to express my sorrow. I only met him once several years ago during a 4th of July event at Camp Kindilien and I was blown away by his sharp mind and wit. I cannot imagine the grief and the paint your family issues feeling and the affect it will have on his brothers. It's not fair. Lord have mercy.

In 2020 during the pandemic, Connor was literally one of the best and funniest people I could talk to. I´m from the UK so it was nice after online school to get online and play video games with him and other friends. Although I don´t talk to him now, he made up a lot of the times I have played video games and I hope he rests in peace.
