Daniel Roberts Obituary
Daniel Kenneth Roberts passed away peacefully at age 93 on September 19, surrounded by his family. Daniel was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 1, 1925 to Sadie and Louie Krupnick. He went to Brooklyn Tech, after WWII, Cornell University and then NYU for his MBA.
Daniel was a WWII Purple Heart Medal recipient, having stepped on a land mine on the French- German border while going to get medic help for his Sergeant. While at Cornell he met his beloved wife, Betty. They eventually settled in Stamford in 1966. For 30 plus years he was President of Robert Half Personnel Accountemps agencies with many US and Canadian locations. Daniel and Betty traveled extensively throughout the world.
During his lifetime he was involved in many civic organizations and his religious community. Daniel was very philanthropic. His generosity included providing college scholarships to those in need. He was a big supporter of the Stamford Hospital Foundation and Temple Sinai.
Daniel is survived by his wife Betty, son Eric Roberts of Denver, daughter Jeri Appel (Mark) of Stamford, grandchildren Jacob, Zoe, Joshua, and Lilly.
A funeral service will be held this Friday at 12:30 at Temple Sinai.
In lieu of donations can be made to the Roberts Adult Education Fund at Temple Sinai of Stamford or the Stamford Hospital Foundation.

WE MET DAN YEARS AGO AT AN OVER THE HILL/TOP NOTCH CLUB FUNCTION. HE AND HIS WIFE, BETTY, WERE A LOVELY COUPLE. THEY WERE VERY DEVOTED TO EACH OTHER. WE ARE TRULY SORRY TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING, AND WISH TO EXPRESS OUR SINCERE SYMPATHY TO BETTY AND HIS ENTIRE FAMILY. HE WAS TRULY AN OUTSTANDING PERSON; THE WORLD NEEDS MORE LIKE HIM.
