I am heartbroken to hear of Doug's passing. I was his student at FIT. I have never had a more caring professor. I remember running out of my BFA thesis presentation because I was so nervous. He came and found me crying in the hallway. He told me that some of the greatest artists can't find words for their art. I'll never forget those words. He truly touched my heart. My condolences to his family.

My condolences to the family. I remember the big beautiful house you lived in on Elm St. across from St. Mary's
School where we were classmates. My sympathies and condolences for your loss.
