Eugene (Gene) Tassone
It is with a heavy heart that the Tassone Family is reporting the passing of Eugene (Gene) Tassone. Gene, age 80, passed away on January 12, 2021 at the Greenwich Hospital due to Covid-19 virus complications. He was born on July 27, 1940 to the late Eugene and Antoinette (Morabito) Tassone.
Gene will now join his son Michael in heaven, who passed away on December 19, 2020 also from the Covid-19 virus.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Patricia and daughter Michelle Tassone. He is also survived by his brothers Joseph & Joan Tassone of Brewster, NY and Vincent & Callie Tassone of North Carolina, and by a sister Irene Yardis of North Carolina.
Gene retired from Pitney Bowes where he worked for over 40 years. He enjoyed playing golf and watching his favorite sports teams, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He was a beautiful person and would give you the shirt off his back. Gene will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

Dear Pat and Michelle, So sorry to hear the news of Gene and Michael’s passing. I knew both of them from Pitney Bowes but Saw Gene mostly during my 45 years at the main plant. I have some great memories of Gene that bring a smile to my face. My sincere condolences to you and Michelle. May they R.I.P. Frank Iaizzi

Dear Patty and Michele, I’m so sorry to hear of Gene’s passing. I worked with Gene at Pitney Bowes for many years. We played softball, and golf together and had good times. I will always remember him and the times we had together.
