Dear Mrs. Poulos and family,
I have known the wonderful Father for some 40 years,
and have I rarely known a more intelligent, caring, and thought provoking man in my lifetime.
I had the privilege of working with and serving with Father Poulos for nearly 20 years as a Funeral Director in Stamford.
I would often seek his counsel, not only for someone
in the local Greek-American Community but those
who were part of our great and caring community at
large.
Father and I worked on many Services for those in
his Church congregation and we shared a lot of
very difficult tasks in caring for the bereaved.
Please know that he, and you, his family, are in my thoughts
and prayers, as a great Priest, spiritual leader, and
an inspiration to Stamford for numerous decades has
gone to his rest with the Lord.
All My Best,
Mark Frederick

Dear Mrs. Poulos and Family,
I have fond memories of Father Poulos coming to bless our home every year. He often visited my Yaya Mary Chirimbes, whom was house bound. When he spoke at her burial service many years ago his words are still in my heart .His words were not only profound, but filled with love and wisdom. He was truly a man of great faith, compassion and kindness. I pray that our Lord grants you peace in the days ahead.

Fr. Poulos was a mentor, friend and head cheerleader. He never failed to share sound advice, cherished memories, enthusiasm, vision, or encouragement. He was the embodiment of what it meant to be in service to the Lord and a true example of the work required in serving the Greek Orthodox Church. Our entire family mourn his passing and celebrate his memory. May his family find solace in knowing that he ran the race, finished strong and now may return home. Eternal peace and life.
