Glenn Halama Obituary
Glenn Thomas Halama, 70, a lifelong Stamford resident passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022. Glenn was born in Stamford on February 6, 1951 to the late Frank M. and Beverly Walker Halama.
Glenn was a caregiver of his father, always making time for his family. His love of animals, especially dogs, was only second only to his loved ones. Glenn spent much of time with his friends in downtown Stamford, particularly at Curley's Diner.
Glenn is survived by his loving son, Glenn T. Halama, Jr. of Naugatuck, his brother Jeffery Halama of California, sister Lisa Vento of Stamford and several beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Thursday February 10, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a service taking place at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glenn's name to the Stamford Humane Society, c/o of Stamford Animal Control Center, 201 Magee Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902.
