Joseph Passero Obituary
Joseph C. ("Big Joe") Passero, 79, died July 23, 2018 at his home in Lutz, Florida. Big Joe was born November 21, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut to Carmen and Millie (Mennona) Passero.
Big Joe spent four years in the United States Air Force, stationed in both the United States and Iceland. The focus of his work in military intelligence remains a mystery to his family to this day (the truth is out there!). Following his honorable discharge Big Joe began a long career at Reflectone (now CAE Inc.), where he met his wife Peggy. In 1979, Big Joe and Peggy relocated their family to Florida with Reflectone. After retiring from Reflectone, Big Joe spent many years giving back to the local economy, largely through "donations" made at the Seminole Hard Rock casino.
Big Joe is survived by his wife of 52 years, Peggy (Berry), daughter Lainie Passero, son Joseph Passero and his wife Leslie, three grandchildren (Dylan, Jack, and Carson), his sister Rae (Passero) Conant and her husband George, and his sister Angela Passero.
At Big Joe's request there will be no service. Please consider making a donation to Gulfside Hospice (Land O' Lakes, Florida) in acknowledgment of their amazing support over the past few months.

The Passero's were a second family to me. Joe & Peggy took me in and gave me a home for a while. The family Joe built with Peggy was what I have modeled my own marriage after. I will forever hold Joe & Peggy in the highest esteem in my heart. I don't think there are two better people on this planet.

Peggy and family I send my condolences. Joe was the first boss I ever had that I truly respected. I just remembered Joe's laughing face. That entire face laughed. What a character he was! The world feels a little emptier now.

Very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was my best friend through high school, working at the shade store, making movies, playing baseball and generally hanging out. His house was like a second home to me. We were a team "J. Pass &
J. Vass". My deepest sympathies to his whole family.
