Marian Pearson Obituary
Born January 19, 1942 in Efland, NC she was the daughter of the late William T. and Ruzie McCulley McAdoo.
Mrs. Pearson lived in Stamford for over 46 years. She worked for General Re Insurance Company for many years.
Mrs. Pearson was predeceased by her husband James Pearson Jr. in January 2003.
She is survived by her daughter Cassandra Grasty and son-in law William Curtis Grasty Jr. of Norwalk, CT a sister Annie Whitted of Hillsborough, NC, her brothers Calvin Lewis McAdoo & wife Lois of Virginia Beach, VA, Lawrence Edwards McAdoo and wife Lorene of Efland, NC, sister-in-law Beverly McAdoo, three grandchildren Tamile, Tiffany and Terell Grasty and one Great Grandchild Blaize Nicholas Grasty.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday October 17, 2006 from 3-9PM at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer St. Stamford, CT.
All services and burial will be held in North Carolina.

I knew Marian for many years at Cologne / Gen Re. She was a sweet woman, always friendly, warm and gracious. I will keep Marian and family in my prayers.

San, Curt, Tamile, Tiffany and Terell, I am so sorry about your loss. Your mom/grandmother was the glue and I know she will be missed. Find strength in the fact that she is no longer suffering and that God will see you through this. Your godson, Jeremy, sends his condolences and love. To The Pearson Family,
Although I only worked with Marian for a few years at GenRe, her friendship left a lasting mark on my life. She was one of the first people to warmly and openly welcome me. She will surely be missed. May God bless all of in this time of sorrow and may the prayers of those around you strengthen and keep you. For, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 30:5. I worked with Marion for 16 years at Gen Re. She was always so kind and had such a warm gentle heart. I will miss her smile.
