Mary Dudzuik Obituary

MARY DUDZUIK Mary (Rusecky) Dudzuik, 110, wife of the late John Dudzuik, of Colchester formerly of Bozrah and Stamford, died Wednesday morning at Harrington Court. She was born in Lithuania on December 3, 1901 and arrived at Ellis Island in 1910 and settled in Oklahoma. She was united in marriage on May 2, 1918 in Henrietta, OK, to John Dudzuik who died on May 20, 1967. She moved throughout the country with her husband as he served in the military finally settling in Stamford. Mary lived in Stamford for many years until she moved to Bozrah to live with her granddaughter. She entered Harrington Court in Colchester in November of 2008. Prior to her retirement in 1960 she was employed by Bob's Pet Store. Mary died as one of the few surviving widows of a World War I veteran. Surviving is a son John DuJack, 7 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Irene Choma, two sons Richard and Floyd DuJack, two grandchildren Mary and Robert and two sisters Frances and Anna. A Graveside Service will be held Monday at 11:00am, at the St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave., Darien, CT. Arrangements by Labenski Funeral Home.

Gram, well you finally made to Heaven and you waited for your calling a long long time. Keep an eye on all of us down here and enjoy being with the rest of your family and friend that had to leave before you. Peace be with you and may all you days be filled with Joy. We all will miss you and all the love that kept you in our hearts.
