Peter O'Rourke Obituary
Peter Channing O'Rourke, born May 13,1985, passed away suddenly on December 22, 2015. He leaves behind his devoted and loving partner of several years, Carly Maurer, their one-year-old daughter Hope who was his sunshine, and a son whose birth he was eagerly awaiting.
Peter was beloved by his parents, Peter Guglielmo and Cindy O'Rourke and adored by his grandparents, James O'Rourke and Laurie O'Rourke - Accousti and Antoinette Guglielmo and Peter Guglielmo, Sr. In addition, he will be deeply missed by his many aunts and uncles and his ten cousins with whom he grew up.
Peter was blessed with a generous and affectionate nature and a heart that was loyal to all those he loved. Peter would go out of his way to help someone in need; he knew how to put caring into action. His blue eyes and engaging smile belied an inclination to create mischief and delight everyone he touched. His grandparents' childhood nickname for him was "Dennis the Menace."
Peter was extraordinary and his passing leaves us with aching hearts and a void in our family that can never be filled.
Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will take place in private.
Peter had a special love for pit bulls so in lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the Connecticut Pit Bull Rescue, P.O. Box 242, Plainville, CT 06062.

I am heart broken knowing a young man who was so full of life is no longer with us. He had so much spunk, it doesn't seem possible. I saw how much joy he brought his family.
