To Bob's family. The impact Bob had on my career cannot be overstated. He was a model consultant to clients, and fabulous teacher to those privileged to work with him. The memories are many, but some of my fondest are from seeing him at home with family and sharing stories about the doll house, swords, paintings, and other items he cherished.

Everyone always seems to have a `Bob Byrne story´... The one thing that is so constant is how funny those stories are! The best ones were the ones where someone would start, and Bob would finish. In addition to his brilliance, he had a great, often self-deprecating sense of humor.

Dear Byrne Family, Please accept my condolences for Bob´s passing. I couldn´t have asked for a better mentor as a consultant in my early days at AT Kearney. From his work ethic to his absolute and unequivocal dedication to logic and reason, Bob was a consultant´s consultant. While he was a man who suffered no fools at work, it was easy to see he had a soft spot whenever it came to responding to his family´s needs (or discussing baseball´s glory days). He will certainly be missed...R.I.P. Bob

To Bob's family and friends: My thoughts are with you in the days and weeks ahead. I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Bob for over a decade for clients globally. Bob was a character, bright, demanding, opinionated, and stretching client and colleague alike. I will never forget the crucial role he played as part of a small team leading the buyback of A.T. Kearney in 2005-6. The flourishing of the partnership ever since is a testament to his work.

To the entire Byrne family: I consider Bob to be one of greatest professional colleagues I ever had. He was an extraordinary consultant, business person, mentor and friend. My life is far richer for having had the opportunity to work along side and learn from Bob at A. T. Kearney for seven years. My sincere condolences to all of you.
