I befriended Sylvia in Riverdale more than a decade ago. Yes, she was a special artist, loved beauty, and creative "classy style"! She also wanted the best for her daughters! She sacrificed a lot to make them her "special gifts"! I am glad you spoke so kindly of her life in your obit. God Bless the family!

I would like to give my deepest condolences. From the picture posted you can tell Sylvia was beautiful person not only outside but more so inside. She loved what she did and those around her (her smile speaks a thousand words). Death is the inevitable for us all, but it is never easy when it happens to those we love. I hope the words at Jo. 5:28,29 help to bring you comfort. Remember all the positive and never dwell on the negative. Remember your moments with Sylvia and keep her alive in your memory.

Dear Karen and Julie,
Your Mom will be missed...dearly. She was a great light unto many of us during our lives. She had the gift of always asking
"What was next?" May the memories of her bring forth a deep peace within you during this difficult time. Thinking of both of you with sincere sympathy.
Namaste
