Anna Mae Ragan, 77, of Hazleton, passed away early Tuesday morning in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
She was born in Hazleton, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Mae (Drasher) Mastrota.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an nurse's aide at St. Luke Pavilion. Anna Mae was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church, Hazle Twp. She loved her dogs, cooking, going to the casinos and beach and also playing games on her computer.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Edward Ragan; and sisters and brothers, Elsie Mastrota, on May 20, 2022; James Mastrota; Corra, Seigal, Linda Hilburt; and Joseph Kmetz.
Surviving are two children, Ann Carr, Hazleton; Joseph Somerdak, Drums; seven grandchildren, Kristi Carr, who resided with her grandmother; James Boyle; Jaime Bonner; Ryan Somerdak; Aaron Somerdak; Eric Somerdak; Lauren Somerdak; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Yanetti, Hazleton; and one brother, John Miles, Harrisburg. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Assembly of God Church, 34 Fox Manor Road, Hazle Twp.
Interment will follow in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, St. Johns.
Arrangements are under the direction of Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 542 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton.
