Bernadine Schmeer Obituary
Bernadine M. Schmeer, 75, of Kelayres passed away suddenly Monday.
Born in Kelayres, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Stranko) Befano.
She was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Bernadine was an avid reader. In her younger days she was active with the McAdoo Little League.
Bernadine was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed.
Preceding her in death were her son, Mark S. Schmeer Sr.; great-granddaughter, Sophia Schmeer; brother, Louis Befano; and sister, Elizabeth A. Ciccozzi.
Surviving are her son, Richard Schmeer, McAdoo; grandchildren, Mark S. Schmeer Jr.; Amber Sones and husband, Brian; Shauna Mesaric and husband, Daniel; Aaron Schmeer and partner, Lauren Peifer; and Shannon Schmeer; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
