Craig M. Wright, 52, of Drums, passed away Thursday surrounded by his loving family after a three-year battle with brain cancer.
Craig, born May 6, 1970, is the son of Eugene and Lucille (Brighthaupt) Wright of Drums.
Craig worked at the Gatorade plant in Mountain Top for the past 26 years. He was highly respected and his co-workers knew that they could always rely on him, as he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Craig had a passion for the outdoors. It was a passion that he shared with his son, Fred. When he wasn't working, you could find them both in the woods hunting for their next trophy or at the motocross track participating in the races and enjoying the day.
He is survived by his parents; son, Fred Wright; stepdaughter, Leah Serafin; brothers, James Wright and his wife, Denise, and Curt Wright and his wife, Laura; niece and nephew, Katlyn and Kyle Wright; grandmother, Cleo Wright; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday from Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory, Drums. The Rev. Dr. M. Jane Hess will preside over the service.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation period at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m.
