Francis Tucci Obituary
Francis X. Tucci, 71, passed away Sept. 5.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of Catherine and the late James Tucci.
He was a graduate of Hazleton High School, Class of 1967. He graduated from Empire Beauty Academy and became the owner and operator of Hair Designs by Francis X. Tucci, which recently celebrated 50 years of service. A master of his craft, he always exceeded the expectations of his clientele. His attention to detail and passion for perfection made him the perfect wedding coordinator and event planner. He touched so many lives with his exceptional efforts.
Francis was active within the community of the Hazleton area, including his endeavors with HHS Class of 1967 Reunion Committee, Festival of Trees, the American Cancer Society, Season of Hope Ball and many others.
He had a love for cooking and baking Italian foods and would often share his creations on Facebook for everyone to enjoy.
He had a heart of gold, who would help anyone and expect nothing in return.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine; brother, James; and several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. He was an avid animal lover and left behind his beloved feline babies, Bella, Gia and Gino.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at Fierro Funeral Home, Hazleton.
A memorial mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church.
Memorial donations can be made to Fierro Funeral Home in honor of the memory of Francis X. Tucci.

What can you say about a perfect heart. Francis was a perfect heart and a perfect person, friend and extremely talented when it came to his craft. His talent for designing weddings was second to none and he was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be sadly missed by not just our family but everyone. RIP dear friend ❤

Francis was a wonderful, talented, kind, fun person! He was my Wedding Consultant back in 1987. He did a fabulous job! Making sure my Wedding was perfect in every way.
