Frank Lamasko Obituary

Frank C. Lamasko Jr., 60, of White Haven passed away Saturday in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born Nov. 11, 1961, he was the son of Nancy (Dias) Lamasko and the late Frank C. Lamasko Sr. Frank was a 1979 graduate of Freeland High School and had previously been employed at Garland Industries, Freeland.

He had an amateur radio operator's license and enjoyed electronics, achieving many certificates as he completed different courses of study in that field. He also took Bible correspondence courses, obtaining many certifications for these studies. His hobbies included following NASCAR, riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and trapping.

Preceding him in death was his father, Frank C. Lamasko Sr., in July 1990.

Surviving are his mother, Nancy Jacobs, and stepfather, Joseph Jacobs, White Haven; a brother, John Lamasko, Upper Lehigh; sisters, Linda Herman and husband, Thomas, White Haven; Lisa Burke and husband, Thomas, Freeland; aunts, Elsie Fierraro, White Haven; Dorothy (Honey) Lamasko, North Carolina; and an uncle, Carl Dias and wife, Patricia, White Haven. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Thomas J. Herman; Amanda Herman; Nicholas Burke and companion, Celimar; Francine Lamasko; John Lamasko Jr.; a great-nephew, Carl J. Herman; and many cousins.

All services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

McHugh-Wilczek Funeral Home, 249 Centre St., Freeland, is in charge of arrangements.
