Frank J. Roman, 87, of Pardeesville passed away peacefully Sunday evening at his home.
He was born in Weatherly, the son of the late Philip and Catherine (Paulmeno) Roman.
Frank was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish at the Church of St. Joseph, Hazleton. Frank was an avid golfer. Prior to his retirement, he was sales manager with the Metropolitan Insurance Co.
Preceeding him in death, in addition to his parents, were a grandson, Jordan Sebia; brothers and sisters, Angelo Roman, Anna Kollosky, Russy Roman, Sammy Roman and Mary Tokash.
Surviving are his wife, the former Emma (Voytek) Roman; son, Franko Roman, Philadelphia; daughter, Terri Corbett and husband, John, Richmond, Va.; grandsons, Jared, Julian Sebia; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Lena Fatula, Allentown; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish at the Church of St. Joseph, Sixth and Laurel streets, Hazleton.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 542 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton.
