Jane A. (Wenner) Rinehimer, 82, of Dorrance Twp. passed away Monday at home.
Born at home in Drums on March 8, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Hilda (Moyer) and Willard Wenner Sr. She graduated from West Hazleton High School. She owned and operated a dairy farm with her husband and son.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Hobbie, where she helped with church dinners as often as possible. Jane enjoyed cooking and baking, she was famous for her pumpkin roll and spaghetti sauce. No one ever left her home hungry. She also liked putting together jigsaw puzzles. She adored her grandchildren and had a hand in raising each one of them.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Janet Lowery and husband, Brent, Hobbie; Glenda Hannon, Dorrance Twp.; Scott Rinehimer and wife, Tara, Dorrance Twp.; grandchildren, Joshua and Jeremy Lowery; Megan Felsman and husband, Mike; Joseph, Curtis and Christopher Hannon; Brandon and Jordan Rinehimer; brothers, Wilbur Wenner, Drums; Donald Wenner and wife, Betty, Drums; Richard Wenner and wife, Lucille, Drums; Thomas Wenner and wife, Sara, Drums; Willard Wenner Jr., Drums; sisters, Judy Hollock and husband, Theodore, Mountain Top; Nancy Hess and husband, James, Punta Gorda, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Edsel T. Rinehimer, on Dec. 7, 2017; a son in infancy; son-in-law, Curtis Hannon; sister, Ethel Hoda and husband, Rudy; brother, Harry Wenner and wife, Mary; and sister-in-law, Nancy Wenner.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Lutheran Church, Hobbie, with the Rev. Oliver Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Emmanuel Cemetery, Dorrance Twp.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E. 3rd St., Nescopeck, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
