Joseph J. Kline, 78, a resident of Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hazle Twp., passed away Wednesday in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late John and Bessie (Dougherty) Kline.
Joseph attended school at St. Gabriel's. His main interests were the Hazleton area sports teams and he loved watching the Phillies and Eagles.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his brothers, Thomas, John and James Kline; and sisters, Margaret Mary McKelvey, Mary Joan Campbell and Dorothy Kuntz.
Surviving are his sisters, Frances May and Ann Kline; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral services will be held privately.
Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, with Tom Boyle assisting, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.
