Marie Goetsch Obituary
Marie Goetsch, 76, of Hazle Twp., passed away Tuesday morning at Mountain City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Hazle Twp., following a lengthy illness.
Born in Hazleton, Feb. 17, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Edith (Malfatti) Poncheri, and spent the past six years in Hazle Twp. after moving from Fern Glen.
Marie was a self-employed beautician and salon owner. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Weston. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Tommy.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband, Thomas H. Goetsch, on April 19, 2006.
Surviving are a son, Matthew Karmonick and his wife, Cheryl, Hazle Twp.; and a sister, Barbara Wolk, Sheppton; four grandchildren, Justin Karmonick and fiancée, Melanie Pollack; Brandon Karmonick and his wife, Lacey; Kyle Karmonick and his wife, Carli; and Ashley Karmonick; three great-grandchildren, Gianna, Matteo and Kashton; and several nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, assisted the family with the arrangements.
