Marie Griscom Obituary

Marie Therese Griscom, 85, passed away Sunday evening, October 20, 2024 at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community in Drums, where she had resided for the past six months after moving from the Corrigan house where she had lived for four years.

Born in Verdun, France, December 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Elizabeth (Schille) Spaeter.

Marie was a Homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family, reading, gardening, crochet, knitting, Baking and loved her Coffee.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her children Patricia Kays and her husband Brian, Drexel Hill; Virginia Christensen, and her husband Donald, Zion Grove; Allen Griscom; and his wife Susan, Coatsville; David Griscom, and his wife Laurie Griscom, Drums; and Carol Griscom, Zion Grove; a brother Antoine Spaeter; and a sister Yvonne Sargent both of France. Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 12:30 PM at Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Internment will take place privately. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until time of service
