An angel has returned to heaven. On Wednesday morning Mary Beth Marolo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a decline in health.
Mary Beth fought bravely and courageously against chronic illness for many years; however, her soul grew tired and is now at rest.
Mary Beth loved travel and music concerts. She fulfilled her dream of seeing Paris and met and made many dear friends among the bands of the shows she attended. She loved collecting memorabilia of some of her favorite childhood memories of things like Barbie dolls and The Beatles. Above all else she loved her family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her biological parents, Ronald and Nancy Letcher Labanoski; and brother, Aaron Labanoski.
Surviving are her daughter, Tracy Marolo Buchinsky and husband, John; grandchildren, Justin, Katie and Christopher, all of Danville, Va.; her son, Sammy Marolo and wife, Alexandria; grandchildren, Mason, Mariah and Max, Pardeesville; fiancé, soulmate and constant companion, Jerry Tray; stepmother, Rosemary Potzner Labanoski, Gilbert, Ariz. She leaves behind several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as several friends who were as close to family as anyone could be.
She was truly loved by many and will be deeply missed.

On behalf of Hazleton High School Class of 1973, I would like to extend our belated but sincerest condolences as we just found out about MaryBeth. I've added a dedication to her on the Home Page on our alumni class. Please feel free to visit www.HHS73.net to see our tribute. Sadly, his Home Page dedication is shared with other classmates who also passed away recently. Their memorials will remain there for a few weeks, and then transferred and held on our "In Memory" Page forever.
So many thoughts and prayers are being sent to you, your family & friends from fellow classmates saddened by this loss.
Love, Light & Peace to you and yours,
Karen M., Website Administrator

So glad we were able to talk to her last year. I have fond memories of your mom from our visits back in the day! She was kind, fun and feisty ...a perfect combination to help her during her health struggles. I know she will be missed.
