Mary L. Payne, 89, of Elizabethtown passed away Sunday in Hershey Medical Center.
Born in White Haven, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Letha (Learn) Morrison and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Allentown.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Robert Payne, in 1996; brother, Theodore Roosevelt Morrison; and half-sister, Sandra Strawn.
Surviving are her daughters, Letha Stone and her husband, John, Bloomsburg; and Robin L. Payne Buchert and husband, Barry, Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Bethany Stone Bridges and husband, Matthew; and Matthew Robert Stone and wife, Nancy; and great-grandchildren, Oliver Robert and Emmett James Bridges; Rosalie and Adalynn Stone.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, with the Rev. Dr. M. Jane Hess officiating.
Burial will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Sending my deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. I always will remember her. she was always so nice when you all lived in Beaver Brook many many years ago.such great memories. Remembering such great neighbors..and to Letha and Robin.my long ago playmates.
