Stanley Kuzo, 95, of Hazle Twp. passed away Wednesday at his home.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late John and Catherine Kuzo and was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Church, Hazleton.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a steel worker for many years.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his wife, the former Helen Mosgo, in 2018; and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his children, Stanley Kuzo and his wife, Helen, Allentown; Beverly Peiser and her husband, Randolph, Jeansville; and John Kuzo and his wife, Julia, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, with Rev. D. George Worschak officiating.
Burial will be in St. Michael's Ukrainian Cemetery, Hazleton.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place.

We are so sorry for your loss! You are all in my prayers! Though I have been gone from the area for a lifetime, I still have fond memories of Uncle Stanley from my growing up years! May God bless you and grant you His peace!
