Steven Mark McMinn Jr., 25, of Drums, died at his residence.
Born in Hazleton on April 2, 1999, he was the son of Steven Sr. and Tina McMinn.
Steven was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hike and take photographs of the beauty of nature. Like most of his generation, he loved gaming and playing Warhammer. He was a voracious reader, enjoying some of his favorite authors, Brent Weeks and J.R.R. Tolkien, the "Star Wars" series and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
Steven was a believer in Christ and was a fun-loving, happy son and brother. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was loved by all those who knew him. He will truly be missed.
Surviving are his parents; and sisters, Christianna McMinn and her fiancée, Randy Miller; and Halle McMinn.
A funeral service for Steven will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory, 530 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Steven's uncle, the Rev. William McMinn, will be presiding.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing that will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in St. Johns Lutheran and United Church of Christ Cemetery, St. Johns.
Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
