The Rev. Thomas Edgar MacAdam, 89, of White Haven passed away on Saturday.
Born in North Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Harold and Emma MacAdam.
He was married to the late Janice (Way) MacAdam.
After graduating from Grove City College, Thomas attended Princeton Theological Seminary and entered the Presbyterian ministry. He was ordained as a pastor in 1962, serving the New London Presbyterian Church in New London.
Throughout his life, he served many congregations and touched many lives in Wilkes-Barre, Middle Smithfield, Hazleton, Freeland, Ashland, White Haven and Sinks Grove, W.Va.
Thomas enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, visiting with his sister and family in Catasauqua and visits to Virginia to see his granddaughters.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents and wife, were his brothers and sister.
Thomas is survived by sons, David and his wife, Amy, Newport News, Va.; and Samuel, White Haven; daughter Beth Esa and husband, Louis, White Haven; granddaughters, Kathryn and Elizabeth MacAdam, Newport News, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately.
