Thomas Paul Obzut, 76, of Hazleton passed away Friday after a lengthy illness.
He was a graduate of West Hazleton High School. He served his country in the Air U.S. Force as an aircraft mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Obzut; his mother, Florence Obzut; his sister, Florence Layton; and his niece, Patricia Ann Chulock.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Obzut; his two daughters, Dr. Dana Obzut and Diana Obzut; three grandchildren, Joshua, Jude and Luke; his sister, Patricia Gasser; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was an avid golfer, loved the Philadelphia Phillies, completed the daily crossword puzzle and will be missed by his dog, Scooter.
Funeral services will be private.
