William Simone Obituary
William F. Simone, 91, of Hazleton passed away Thursday at the Pavilion at St. Luke Village.
Born in Milnesville, he was the son of the late Angelo and Catherine (Weigel) Simone and was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish at St. Joseph's Church.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his sisters, Peggy Suravicz and Jean Simone.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, the former Esther McNelis; daughter, Patricia Osborne; son, Timothy Simone; and grandchildren, Victoria, Krista and Colleen Osborne.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish at St. Joseph's Church, Hazleton.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums, at the convenience of the family.
COVID-19 restrictions will be in place.
Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.
