Allen Frost Obituary

Allen P. Age 88, of Painted Post, NY, died Friday, November 21, 2003, at the Corning Hospital. He was born January 9, 1915 in Campbell, NY, son of the late Thomas A. and Martha Beckwith Frost. He attended school in Campbell, NY. Allen and Florence McLaughlin were married June 28, 1937. She predeceased him December 7, 1977. He was employed as a core-maker with Ingersoll Rand, Painted Post, retiring January 19, 1977, after 37 years of service with the company. Allen was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Campbell, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the I.U.E. Local 313. He is survived by daughters, Anita (John) Mayes of Painted Post, NY, Janet (Dennis) Dadson of Rochester, NY, and Jean (Ted) Horigan of Elmira; brother, Adrian (Dorothy) Frost of Pine Hill, Corning, NY; grandchildren, Kelly Winters, Kathy Watson, Tim Dadson, Ann, Jim and John Horigan; four great-grandsons, John and Joseph Winters, Brady and Adam Watson; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Chester B. Frost and Gerald Frost. Friends may call Monday, November 24, 2003, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Haughey Funeral Home, 216 E. First St, Corning, NY. A Funeral Service and Committal Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2003. The Rev. Gerald T. O'Connor will officiate. Interment will be at the family plot in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family would appreciate memorial donations be given in Allen's name to the charity of one's choice.
