AMY PAGE-DEROSIA Obituary

AMY AUGUSTA PAGE-DEROSIA - MILTON, Vt. - Amy Derosia, 48, died on Dec. 18, 2013, peacefully in her home. She was born on June 19, 1965, in Long Island, N.Y., the youngest child of Jane Quinn Page, of Milton, Vt., and the late Robert Bentley Page. Amy attended Essex High School, and graduated from Bellow Free Academy in Fairfax. She attended and graduated from Katherine Gibbs College in Boston, Mass. Amy spoke fondly of her childhood, growing up on the family farm, on Osgood Hill Road in Westford. She loved her horses, Sheba, Casee and Rusty Blaze - actually she loved them all. Amy founded and acted as President of APT Environmental of Milton, Vt. She was an expert at the regulatory requirements and handling of the hazardous waste stream. She grew the business to serve Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York, and special assignments as remote as Kentucky. Amy was known for her quick wit, attention to detail and dedication to her business. Her most important passion was for her family and love of her family. She is deeply missed. Amy is survived by her husband, John, her son, Connor Page, and her daughter, Jane Derosia of Milton; her mom, Jane Q. Page of Milton; her siblings, Marta Page and her son, Ethan, James "Jimmy" Page and his wife, Lucy, and their children, Robert and Seamus, Beth Page and Steven LaMonda, and their children, Andrew and his fiancee, Chelsea Jewett, Cristina, and Jessica, all of Milton; sibling, Susan Sweet, of Deland, Fla., and her children, Besset and wife, Jenny Sabourin, and Sy Sabourin, Anne Page and her partner, Priscilla Drake of Thailand, and Anne's children, Toby Sherman and Satchel Page; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Patty Derosia of Campton, N.H.; brother-in-law, Larry and Jackie Derosia, and their children, Nicole and Andrew of Belmont, N.H.; aunt-in-law, Marcia DeRosia of South Burlington; and her special friend and adopted "Grampa", Ralph McEntee of Milton. Visiting hours will be held in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street in Milton. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.minorfh.com. Donations may be made in Amy's memory to the organization of your choice. God now has a red haired angel - We miss you.

I have many fond memories of riding horses with Amy and Penny, around Osgood Hill Road and Essex. Sheba was an amazing horse - I remember Amy scampering up her neck many times to get
up. Amy laughed a lot and was very funny. My deepest sympathies to Beth and the Page family, and to Amy's family.

Dear Amy and family,

I fondly remember Amy and her mischievous smile. I often recount our adventures with Beth, Chaucer, Lucy, Leonard, Sheba and all of the "Osgood Hill Crew". My friends can hardly believe them.

On a recent trip, we stopped by Beach Haven where I remembered our trip there with Jane, Dolores and Beth.

I'm so sad to hear of your passing, I always cherish those days at the farm.

Remembering you always,
Paul Hodder
