Anna Cerio Obituary
nee: Pecchio
Age 83 of Elmira, died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility; 13 days short of her 84th birthday which would have been November 19th. Anna is survived by her husband of 64 years, Michael; children, Charles Cerio, Elmira, Michael Cerio Jr., FL, Theresa Cerio, Manhattan, N Y; grandson, Michael (Casey) Cerio III with their children Michael IV and Finn, grandson, C.J. Cerio; brother, Thomas Saracene; several wonderful nieces, nephews, and cousins. Anna was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish, and a member of its Sacred Heart Ladies Society. She also was a member of the Italian American Veterans Club Ladies Auxiliary. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Kalec Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9th from 4-7 pm. A prayer service there at 9:15 am on Monday, Nov 10 followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul's Church at 10 am. Burial to follow in Sts. Peter & Paul's cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Blessed Sacrament Parish (Envelopes available at the funeral home). The family would like to thank their relatives, friends and colleagues for their loving and generous support through out this difficult time.

To the Cerio family. My heart goes out to each any everyone of you..Mrs Cerio was our neighbor for many years on Delaware Ave. I went to school and grew up with the kids. Mr and Mrs Cerio had a wonderful life long life together. May God give you all peace through this difficult time and always remember to good times.
