Barbara Arent

Barbara Lee Hanlon Age 66 of Boston, NY formerly of Horseheads,NY passed away on Thursday August 2, 2001. Barbara was born October 15, 1934 the daughter of Frederick and Verna Whitehouse Hanlon. She was a graduate of Horseheads High School and Buffalo State University. Barbara was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Boston, NY and had been a member of the Patchet Fire Dept. Auxiliary for 25 years. She was pre-deceased by her parents Frederick Hanlon and Verna Whitehouse Hanlon Patterson. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Robert Arent; her loving and devoted children; Michelle, Michael, Paul, and Thom W. Arent; 8 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law: Larry & Margaret Hanlon of Boise, Idaho and Charles Corky & Carol Patterson of Horseheads, NY; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Kathie & Richard Van Houten of Horseheads, NY and Chris & Bill Kain of Elmira, NY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling Hours were held at the Wurtz Funeral Home in Boston, NY on August 4th and August 5th. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday August 6, 2001 at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Boston, NY. Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery in Boston, NY.
