Betty Smith Obituary
Age 86, of Ridge Rd., Horseheads, NY, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, Mar. 25, 2010. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., Horseheads, NY, on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, from 2-3:00 p.m. Her service will follow there at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Chorpenning officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may also remember Betty with memorials to Arnot Ogden Medical Center, 600 Roe Ave., Elmira, NY, 14901; Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 East Corning Rd., Corning, NY, 14830; or Bethany Village, 3005 Watkins Rd., Horseheads, NY, 14845. A special thanks to the many doctors, nurses, aides, and caregivers not only for your recent care of Betty, but also for a career of friendship.
