Brian Bedient Obituary
Watkins Glen - Brian S. Bedient, 61, of Watkins Glen, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 22, 2018 at home with his wife by his side. He was born in Cuba, NY on January 13, 1957, the son of the late Stanley and Ruth Bedient and graduated from Watkins Glen High School.
Brian was a carpenter with Carpenters Local Union 277 for many years. He was most happy hunting, trapping, raising livestock and tending to his gardens as he loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Montour Moose Lodge and a former member of the Millport Hunting and Fishing Club.
He is survived by his wife Lori (Whiting) Bedient; step children, Joshua Hayes (Kari Ann and her son Tobey), Amanda Hayes, and Justin (Lauren) Hayes; a brother, Stephen (Debra) Bedient; sisters, Jeanine (Ron) Watson, Sharon (Jim) Carpenter, Cynthia Bedient (Ellie Ward), Leone Dolliver, Khristine Bedient, Betty Lou Bedient and Emilie Bedient; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5-7 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
