To my dear friend Sara and the entire Parker family,

My prayer for you all is that you will know "peace of heart" in your time of sadness and loss. May your many years of beautiful memories be of great comfort to you now. May you feel the Hand of God beneath you, through the prayers of both those who could be there and those who are far away.

In deepest sympathy,

Pam Hart and family

Because You're Not Here

The start of the day seems darker

The drive to the golf course seems longer

The minutes to tee-off seem shorter

Because you’re not here

The view from the tee box is different

Fairways appear longer, narrower and not as green

The rough looks taller and thicker than usual

Because you’re not here

My drives have lost yards

My approach shots fall short

My putts break uncontrollably

Because you’re not here

Sand traps have become barren deserts

Water hazards have become uncharted oceans

Out-of-bounds surround me on all sides

Because you’re not here

But the rounds that were played

The golf balls that were lost

The mulligans that were taken

And the laughs that were shared

Will stay with me for a lifetime

Because you were there.

So when it is my time to go

And I hope I’m heaven bound

When I see you again Pa

I hope you'll join me for another round

God Bless Cy and his family. He was a very nice man to work with. He always had a kind word and a smile for those who visited him. He will be missed.
