I want to thank this man for being the best step dad anyone could ask for to me and my brother. I also want to thank him for being a good grandpa to my children. We had so many amazing memories together! You always knew how to make us smile. You would help anybody that needed it. You were known by so many in Watkins Glen and Montour Falls. You will be missed by me (your step daughter) and my brother (your step son) and your grandkids (Brayden, Sean and Carter). Fly high until we meet again! 11/18/1968-1/20/2019.

Wow Lerch you were way to young to be called home but god has a special mission for you. You certainly had your share of ups and downs. You had close brushes with death but always bounced back until now. You are going to missed but never forgotten. Fly high David.

I still can't believe this is real. There aren't enough words to say how much you are loved and how deeply you are already missed. My heart is broken, i keep expecting to answer the phone and hear your voice on the other end. Rest easy big brother, until we meet again I will hold you in my heart

My older brother Dave would give the shirt off his back if he thought someone needed it. He would give himself to help anyone in need. He will be missed by many. RIP BIG BROTHER...I LOVE YOU
