Edward Foulkrod

Edward P. Age 87 of Troy, PA (Armenia Mountain), formerly of Fassett, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2001 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born on December 3, 1913 in Canton, PA, the son of the late William and Alice (Pierce) Foulkrod. Ed was employed by Remington Rand in Elmira, NY for over 29 years. He was a member of the Olde Covert Church in Armenia Twp., PA. Ed was a member of the NRA and the Fassett Grange. He was an avid trap and skeet shooter. Throughout his life, he enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and fishing, especially with his sons. Ed is survived by his sons, Robert G. (Sheila) Foulkrod of Troy, PA and Thomas E. (Beverly) Foulkrod of Medicine Lodge, KS; daughter, Joyce (LaRue) Garrison of Elmira, NY; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Ethel (Marshal) Cole of Canton, PA. He is predeceased by his wife, Prudence (Warner) Foulkrod in 1991. Friends may call at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA, on Sunday, June 10, 2001 from 2-4 pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4pm at the funeral home with the Reverend Kenneth Marple officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
