I never experienced unconditional love and acceptance until I met your family. You were all so very kind to me. Years later I came into a relationship with God and a member of His eternal family, because of you and I can never repay your kindness and thoughtfulness to one as undeserving as myself. Thank you for being who you all are and may God bless you all abundantly.

I am sorry for your earthly loss, but I also am assured that you will be reunited in God's holy family in eternity.

In Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior,
Doris

Uncle Don was a great man. I grew up playing on the farm with Tim and since I was always hanging around anyway, he gave me a job there from the age of 12 until I was off to college. I learned how to milk cows, do field work, drive a stick shift and that one MUST never subject his cows to Rock music on the radio. He was the hardest working man that I ever knew and could work rings around everyone else. After working at one time or other for him and Uncle's Harrison, George and Bill, I learned how to appreciate hard word and every job that I have had since has seemed like a piece of cake compared to farming. He paid a very fair wage and never took advantage of his workers. He even forgave me and didn't show anger when I wrecked Donny's El Camino and broke the tongue on a wagon. He probably knew that I didn't have what it takes to be a farmer, insisting that I go to college and booted me out of the barn one morning when I showed up to work rather than taking my scheduled SAT exams. He was proud of his family, his farm, the cleanliness of his cows and the condition of his fields. In all of those years, I only remember 2 instances where he left the top of that hill. I am proud to have worked for him and sorry that I did not keep in touch in later years. Heaven just got its toughest Angel ever.
