STERLING, Gloria J.

Age 62 of Millport, NY. She was born August 11, 1953 in Elmira, daughter of the late Peter and Gloria (Baldwin) Sydoriak, Sr. and passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Robert Packer Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law Roger Sterling; father-in-law Gerald Sterling and sister-in-law Roxanna Savino and is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Sterling; sons Mike and Chris Sterling; granddaughter Angelica all of Millport; brother Peter (Denise) Sydoriak, Jr. of Elmira; sister Patty (J.) Manwaring of Millport; mother-in-law Mary Sterling of Pine City; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Sandra (David) Cary of Pigeon Forge, TN, Bob (Sue) Sterling and Sandra Sterling all of Pine City along with several nieces and nephews. Gloria was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Millport and owner of Sterling's Auto Service in Pine Valley. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave, Elmira on Friday, October 16th from 5 to 7 pm. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 7 pm. Rev. Jack Deyo will officiate. Interment will take place in Millport Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Gloria through donations to the family, c/o P.O. Box 27, Millport, NY 14864.
