Irene Rawson

Irene Hazel 72, of Galeton, PA, December 28, 2002 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. She was born December 3, 1930 in Coudersport, PA, the daughter of Alba & Florence Chandler Treat. Irene was employed at Galeton Production as well as several area restaurants and businesses. She was a member of the Galeton Free Methodist Church and enjoyed her flower gardens. Irene is survived by her husband, George, a son, Barry Keith Douglas, 2 daughters, Linda (Ronald) Yonkin of Fairless Hills, PA, Penny Douglas & fiance Roger Lapp of Sodus, NY, & a sister Patricia Worrell of Roulette, PA. She was predeceased by her first husband, Edmund Keith Douglas, sisters, Alice Kenyon & Shirley Hazel & brother Philip Treat. There will be no prior viewing. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Lloyd Brown Funeral Home, 45 Germania St. Galeton, PA, with Rev. John Prouty officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Irene's memory may be made to the Patterson Cancer Care Center, c/o Cole Memorial Hospital, 1001 E. Second St. Coudersport, PA 16915.
