Jerome "Jerry" Fielding, 80, a resident of Elmira, NY, died early Friday morning in the Select Specialty Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville after an extended illness. He and His wife the former Mryt Bouton would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on October 11th. He was born in Carbondale, raised in Scranton, the son of the late Harry and Anna Feldsott. He was a graduate of Scranton Central High School class of 1952 and a graduate of Saint Lawrence University, Canton NY, earning a Bachelor's Degree. He served with the National Guard and prior to retirement, was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Pepsi-Cola, Elmira, NY. He was an avid Tennis player and a member of the Chemung County Rod and Gun Club. Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Fielding and his wife Debbie, Brick, NJ., Gary Fielding and his wife Cory, Monroe, GA.; a daughter, Rebecca Endres and her husband Paul, Buffalo, NY; five grandchildren, Julie Fielding, Elmira, NY., Andrew and Nicholas Fielding both of Monroe, GA., Holden and Gavin Endres, Both of Buffalo, NY., a brother, Abe Feldsott and his wife Florence, Sumter, SC.; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Feldsott; a sister, Eve Rose. The Funeral and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours.
