Joseph Rhodes Obituary
Joseph M. Rhodes, age 37, of Indian Hills Road, Lindley, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his home. Born on May 7, 1976 in Elmira, NY, he was the son of Glenn E. and Patti J. (Reep) Snyder. He was a graduate of Williamson High School in Lawrenceville, PA and obtained his CDL Class A driver's license through BOCES. Joe was a volunteer firefighter for several fire departments over the years. He enjoyed fishing and watching the NY Giants and Syracuse. He is survived by his daughters: Corrin, Billie Joe and Ashley; loving parents: Glenn E. Rhodes of Lindley, NY and Patti J. (Ben) Snyder of Lindley, NY; sisters: Melanie (Mike) VanZile of Lindley, NY and Tanya (Brian) Knowles of Corning, NY; paternal grandmother, Norma Rhodes and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Ernest Rhodes, and maternal grandparents, John and Hazel Reep. There will be a private graveside service at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Joe's family requests that memorial donations be given in his name to your local fire department. Carpenter's Funeral Home, LLC, 14 E.
