Kenneth Cook

Kenneth D. Age 68, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2004, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Elmira, January 28, 1936 to the late Arthur and Ruth Cook. Ken is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marjorie J. Cook; children, Sandi and Dave Love, Becky and George Shutter, Michael VanGalder, Roxanne Koski, Mark and Kim VanGalder, Robin Gertson, Patrick Cook, Lonnie Cook; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Betty Bowen. Ken was a member of the American Legion Harry B. Bentley Post #443 of Elmira and the Loyal Order of Moose of Elmira. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, on Sunday, June 13, 2004, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Funeral will follow (4:30 p.m.) with the Reverend Edward Crandall officiating. Interment will be on Monday, June 14, 2004, in Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Elmira at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 E. Corning Rd., Corning, NY 14830.
